The closing data for applications for the next funding round is midday on Friday 20th of September 2024.

Process Change:  Over the past few Bursary rounds there have been a number of applicants who have failed to submit all required documents, particularly the Beneficiary Payment Form (BPF), and this has resulted in significant effort by the Board to resolve.  The BPF is a mandatory requirement from our Trust provider Perpetual Guardian (PG).  Failure to provide the BPF and Bursary Submission Form (BSF) will result in your application not being considered by the Board until received.  Submissions already received without the BPF will not be progressed further until all documentation has been provided:

To date the trustees have awarded 728 bursaries worth in total $385,362 and ranging in value from $120 to $2,500.

The trust has recently concluded a strategic alliance / partnership arrangement with the New Zealand Vietnam Veterans and Their Families Trust which is likely to result in an increase to the value of bursaries awarded.
